How can something that seemed so true turn out to be such a lie?

Who cares about this stupid election?
We all know it doesn't matter who gets elected president.
Do you really think it's going to change anything?
Will it make one single person smarter, happier or nicer?
The only person it matters to is the one who gets elected.
The same pathetic charade happeneds every year.

Who knew how far she'd go in life,
how many people will suffer because of her?
I realized I wasn't angry at her anymore. I just felf sorry for her.
